How the trial works
14 days on your own Autotask data, with every feature. You decide whether to add a card; until the trial ends, nothing is charged.

- Days 1 to 14Use ProjectSmith on your own Autotask data. Fence writes to a test project with the write-scope guard if you want to. We email you before the trial ends.
- Any time in the trialAdd a card on the Billing page when you decide to keep going. Nothing is charged until the trial ends.
- After day 14With a card on file, monthly billing starts for the seats on your subscription. Without one, the workspace is suspended until an Owner or Admin adds a card. Nothing is deleted.

Billing details

- Cards. Stripe, our payment processor, collects card details; ProjectSmith never sees the full number.
- Hosting. Microsoft Azure, in Australia. United Kingdom and United States regions are planned.

Pricing questions
How do I cancel?
In the app. The workspace Owner cancels the subscription on Settings, Billing. The workspace stays open until the end of the period already paid for and does not renew. To close the workspace altogether, the Owner can export its data, then request deletion on Settings, Workspace. Access ends at once and the data is permanently deleted 30 days after the request, so there is time to change your mind. Audit records are kept. Nothing in your Autotask instance is deleted.
What happens if I add or remove seats mid-month?
Seat changes take effect straight away and are prorated. Adding a seat charges the rest of the month on your next invoice; removing one credits the unused part. A subscription cannot drop below one Planner and two Members.
Do I pay for every Autotask resource?
No. You pay only for people who sign in to ProjectSmith. Every Autotask resource still appears in capacity planning and utilisation, seat or no seat.
Who can manage users and billing?
Workspace Owners and Admins. Owners and Admins administer users, billing and settings on any seat. Seats decide which parts of the product someone uses; roles decide what they administer.
Which currency will I be billed in?
US dollars only. Your bank or card issuer may convert the charge to your local currency. Project budgets and charges inside ProjectSmith use your Autotask currency; that does not change what you are billed in.
How do invoices work?
Stripe raises an invoice each month for the seats on your subscription and charges the card on file. Every invoice is on the Billing page in the app as a PDF.
Are taxes included?
No. Prices are in US dollars, plus applicable taxes. Any tax that applies is shown on the invoice.
Where is my data stored?
On Microsoft Azure, in Australia. United Kingdom and United States regions are planned.
Is there an annual discount or a contract?
No. One price per seat, billed monthly. Cancel any time.
Is there an onboarding or setup fee?
No. Connector setup is self-serve. Help is in the app (Get help, on every page) and by email at support@getprojectsmith.com.
